Slicer Profiles

The slicing software is a 3D printer program and acts as an intermediary between the 3D model and the 3D printer. After you have modelled the object you want to 3D print in the CAD software, you should export it to an STL file. The slicer converts the model into a series of thin layers and creates a G-code file with instructions tailored to your printer type.

MCM3D recommends Ultimaker Cura, SuperSlicer and Simplify3D as slicing software and offers the profiles below for download to achieve the best possible results in precision and surface finish.

MCM3D GreenCraft

The right economic and sustainable decisions should be made before the printing process begins.
A process analysis software has been developed to support you in this.

A very efficient tool for anyone who wants to 3D print economically. Interesting for companies and especially 3D printing service companies.

  • Do not only consider material costs, but also maintenance intervals, costs for wearing parts, energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

  • Work efficiently and take advantage of the GCode-Analyser to compute a print path optimisation
